Villa Iskandar is located in the sleepy hamlet of Banjar Nyanyi in Beraban village, just four kilometres from Bali's famous Tanah Lot sea temple and Nirwana Bali Golf Club. The 18-hole championship golf course is bordered by ocean and rice fields, making it one of the most visually spectacular courses in Asia, while the wave-lashed Tanah Lot Temple is the most photographed attraction on the island and a must-see at sunset. The coastline to the northwest and southeast of Tanah Lot is famous for its surf beaches. Virtually untouched by tourism, the villa is situated in the Tabanan Regency, which is known as Bali's ‘rice bowl' and is the most agriculturally productive area on the island. The riverside trails and rice fields around the villa offer delightful walks.
At Echo Beach in Canggu, which is about 15 minutes' drive, there is a good choice of restaurants and cafes. The internationally-acclaimed restaurants, shops and nightclubs of Seminyak can be reached within 25 - 30 minutes by car. The villa is one hour's drive from the airport and it is easily possible to visit many of the island's main tourist attractions on daytrips.
